I needed to learn to trust my HVAC technician again.
- I used to have a firm trust in everything my HVAC technician told me, but a recent event caused me to lose all my trust in my HVAC technician.
I had known this HVAC technician for over four years, and he had fixed many of my HVAC units before including my central air conditioner, furnace, and air purifier, but this time he did something to completely break my trust. I had asked him to come and fix my smart thermostat for me since it was acting up, and while he was in my home fixing the smart thermostat he swiped some of my very expensive jewelry from on my dresser. When I found out what this HVAC technician did, I called the police and got my jewelry back. The next time that my central air conditioner broke, I didn’t want to call the heating and cooling business to ask them to send an HVAC technician because I no longer trusted them. Over time, however, I had no choice but to hire an HVAC technician to come and fix my central air conditioner. When the HVAC technician came, I showed him to the air conditioner, and then watched him fix it very closely to make sure he wasn’t going to try anything. As the months passed and this same HVAC technician had come a few different times to do a checkup on my HVAC units, I started to slowly trust him. This HVAC technician was different from the last in that he was very kind. Once again I grew to trust an HVAC technician.
