Have to find new HVAC company – insulted tech (butt dial)

I’m the type of person who is very paranoid about people over hearing my conversations.

If I am talking on the phone with anybody I make sure that I go outside to a desolate area so I do not have to worry about eavesdropping.

I’m not sure why I am so paranoid about people listening in… But apparently I need to be more careful when I’m not on the phone. Recently, I was telling my best friend about an unfortunate indoor air handling service appointment I had experienced. I wanted my boiler system to be inspected before the winter weather settled into our area. I called a new heating, cooling, and air quality control dealership to arrange a professional HVAC inspection. When the air quality control specialist arrived at my door I was very surprised to see how unprofessional he looked. The HVAC worker was wearing dirty clothing, he seemed very distracted, and he had massive bags under his eyes. I showed him to the boiler system and he returned with a full report on the heating unit about two hours later. I couldn’t believe that it took the HVAC tech so long to look at my boiler system or that the heating and cooling dealership would let their workers walk out the door looking so dirty in their HVAC uniform. Unfortunately, throughout this conversation I didn’t realize that my phone had butt dialed the heating, cooling, and air quality control technician. He overheard all of my shit talking. To make matters worse, it turns out that the HVAC technician was a mess that day because his mom just died. Whoops. Looks like I’ll be getting a new HVAC technician.
