Saw HVAC tech at the hardware store buying my supplies

I would not say that I am the wisest human being on the planet.

I am missing a lot of important life skills and experiences that other people seem to have firmly under their belts. This is why I just recently learned that you need to call out professional heating, cooling, and air quality control technicians to inspect your indoor air handling devices on a regular basis. I don’t think I have ever called an indoor air quality control specialist before in my life. This means, my heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment has not been serviced in the ten years that I have owned the HVAC system. When I finally realized that indoor air quality had to be carefully managed with professional inspection, maintenance, and diagnostic appointments… I was quick to jump into gear. I called the closest heating, cooling, and air quality control dealership and explained my circumstances. Clearly, this gave the indoor air quality control repair shop the green light to take advantage of my lack of HVAC knowledge. When the air quality control specialist inspected my heating and cooling system, he rapidly told me that I needed several specialty parts from a foreign HVAC Equipment Company. I gladly paid for all of the expensive items and waited for my follow-up heating and cooling repair appointment. You can imagine my surprise when I saw my heating and cooling technician at the local hardware store the next day, purchasing the “expensive parts” from the discount bin in the heating, cooling, and ventilation aisle. One more life lesson, learned the hard way.
