If you don’t consistently consider your indoor air temperature control devices, you might actually be creating problems whenever it comes to high energy bills and emergency professional heating and cooling appointments. An unmaintained heating and cooling system is an expensive heating and cooling system, all the way down to your air vents. I just wish that I learned this lesson about indoor air quality control and HVAC maintenance myself… like 10 year ago. Like, before my indoor air quality took a tumble and my energy bills almost put me in the poor house all because of stupid, dirty air vents. I never worried about my AC unit or furnace before, and I was baffled by HVAC equipment, overall. So on the day that my HVAC system failed, I called a heating, cooling, and air quality control professional. Turns out, my AC and furnace were fine… but my ductwork and air vents needed help. Now I know, if you just vacuum your vents, you’ll save yourself a lot of money on professional HVAC costs.
