I don’t have to worry about our family room catching on fire either with this remarkably radiant electric fireplace
This will sound crazy to some people, even though I decided to change up our fireplace… I constantly loved the fireplace plus the warmth from it, even though I never loved having to split wood all the time. I wanted to have something like a gas fireplace plus I wanted it to have genuinely minimal service needs, and one afternoon, I decided to just close up our chimney plus have an electric fireplace installed… However, this is not a real fireplace at all, the flames are just something digital, but they look real enough; also the heating from this type of fireplace is not so bad. It’s all electric, but it feels enjoyable plus it does a lovely job of heating up our family room area… People ask myself and others all the time why I decided to change our fireplace! Some people say I should not have done that because having a wood burning fireplace is so nice. I agree to a particular extent, it’s just that our back was not going to survive much longer with all that wood breaking. I figured I was able to like the wood burning fireplace for a time, but it was time to like something that didn’t require so much work. I don’t have to worry about our family room catching on fire either with this remarkably radiant electric fireplace. I don’t even have to call a chimney sweep or a local heating, ventilation plus A/C company to help myself and others out. I am particularly blissful about being able to warm our home with electricity… My next move is going to be installing solar panels so I have seriously low bi-weekly bills.
