I know my boss is lying to us about the sales

A couple months ago, I decided to take a new job working for a different HVAC repair company.

I was excited about changing jobs, because the new HVAC repair company offered commission on all of our sales. I thought it was a great way to earn more money without having to work harder. When I left the old HVAC repair company, I knew that I was earning about $3,000 every week and sales. I have been doing my best to keep track of my sales with this job and I feel like my numbers are closer to $4,000. I should be making about 800 each week just in commission fees. It is strange though, because my boss has claimed $2,000 worth of sales over the past three weeks. It feels like the boss is lying to us about the sales. I talked to a couple of other co-workers that have been here for a while. They were dumbfounded and caught off guard when I suggested that the boss is treating us out of money. I am going to start keeping very detailed and accurate records so I can compare everything at the end of one quarter. If the boss is cheating us out of money, we might have to get a lawyer and fight for our money. I doubt the guy is making the mistake by accident, so I can only assume that the key is trying to cheat us out of our money. I never should have left the old place where I was working in the past.
