My car AC is acting strange again

For the past six months, I have been doing my best to baby my car.

It has endured some terrible weather this year and I haven’t been able to get the oil changed on time.

I know it is on the last leg, but I need the car to last six more months. I plan to use my income tax return to buy a new car. I’m hoping for an enormous sum of money from the government. Back in April, the AC started acting up. Sometimes the blower was strong and fierce and other times it seemed like the fan didn’t work much at all. Since the intermittent problem always corrected itself, I never addressed the issue. Now it is the middle of July and the AC is acting weird again. I don’t have the money to fix the AC, especially if the problem is anything significant. I have $216 in my bank savings account and no money in my checking account. I called a few different mechanics around town, but nobody will give me an estimate without taking the engine apart to find the problem. It’s $129 for that service alone and then I have to worry about the AC. It’s pointless and expensive and down right problematic. I believe the AC will stop working eventually and then I will be stuck driving to work everyday in a car without cold air. I’m certainly not looking forward to those days, but I think it is a waste of money to fix the problem and then replace the car a few months later.
