The room with the vaccines was hot and muggy

My wife and I and two of our best friends went to get our covid-19 vaccine on Tuesday. We stopped for coffee in the morning and we also grabbed a bagel and a few doughnuts. It took one hour to drive 17 miles due to the traffic that morning. Of course, not a single one of us were in a hurry. We were extremely nervous about getting a shot, but we knew it was necessary to be safe. We anticipated a long wait at the vaccination site. We were very surprised that there was no line outside. We parked our car and went into the vaccination site. There were a ton of people inside. In fact, it was packed from one wall to the other with people waiting for their vaccine. Everyone checked in with the person at the desk. We got in line and stood there for an hour. The indoor air temperature was very warm and it was hot and muggy inside of the building. There was very little air flow inside. my wife and I and our friends all waited until we could have our vaccine. As soon as we were free to go, we got out of that building. I’m glad that my wife and I decided to wear two masks on that day. We certainly put ourselves in an uncomfortable situation to get the vaccine. We have not been in a room with that many people in at least 12 months. We were worried about the pain from the shot and we should have been concerned with the number of people in that room.
