Last year, my partner plus I learned that the HVAC duct in our attic needed to be replaced altogether. The 60 year old house had a 60 year old air duct, and it was no wonder that the two of us were paying a sizable amount of currency on the heating plus cooling expenses every single month. My partner plus I saw a fairly grim picture when the two of us were given an estimate for $8,500. The estimate covered all of the air duct repairs plus replacement of most of the sheet metal. The estimate also covered labor fees for the two professionals that would be necessary to finish the task. My partner plus I did not expect to see such a large amount on the estimate! We definitely were not prepared to pay almost $10,000 for the air duct repairs alone. I decided to get a couple of estimates to see if anyone could do the job for a lower price. One of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C suppliers provided my partner plus I a much better idea. The guy was pretty stunned that nobody else provided us the same solution. The guy advocated going with a ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C. He said the two of us did not have to fret about the air duct if the two of us went with a ductless option in our property. The guy believed that two ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C units in our lake property would effectively cool the space. It was still $5,000 for both of the ductless Heating, Ventilation & A/C units, but the two of us replaced our heating plus cooling equipment along with the HVAC duct. We seriously should not have any issues in the least for many years now that the two of us have chosen a different way to heat plus cool our property.
