When my brother told me I needed to help him install his new ductless mini split, I told him I didn’t have to do anything.
Of course, that’s when he reminded me that I owed him. He reminded me about the time when he introduced me to my wife who means everything in the world to me. I don’t know where I would be in life if I hadn’t met her, she is so precious. Since my brother had to bring that up, I told him I would help him with whatever he needed. Surprisingly, he just wanted me to record him installing the HVAC system. When I asked him if he actually didn’t need me to work on any part of the actual installation, he laughed. He said I actually thought that somebody with zero HVAC experience could help with his HVAC system installation? Well, as I recalled, he didn’t have any HVAC experience either. He said he did have something that I didn’t have though, and that was plenty of research on these systems and how they are installed. He said he understood the installation process inside and out and wouldn’t have any trouble. He actually wanted to teach other people how simple this type of HVAC installation is and how to do it properly and carefully. He even had advice on which models to go for that provide partial warranties for those who are non-professional HVAC installers. It was a pretty exciting experience I had to admit and I’m glad he asked for my help with recording him.
