He needs a puppysitter

Since getting a little puppy a few months ago, I’ve found it hard to make time to ride my lease horse. The sweet little puppy is too young to be left in a condo alone for multiple hours by himself. But then, it’s too tepid for the puppy to be tied up anywhere in the non-air-conditioned barn too. It’s’ just too hot and muggy in these parts for the little fella. My condo has air conditioner however not a single human to take the puppy outside or make sure that he doesn’t eat things up. The barn doesn’t have a working air conditioner and there is nothing for the puppy to chew up. That left myself and others with very little choice in the matter, so I wasn’t getting much riding done. The lady I regularly lease the horse from noticed I hadn’t been riding and she called and asked myself and others why. So, I explained this to her. Then she came up with a good solution for me and my puppy. She volunteered to watch the puppy in her centrally air-conditioned condo while I rode. I had never even thought of this AC solution. That’s not how leasing a horse works; it doesn’t ever come with free puppy sitting and cooling. However the horse-owner likes my little puppy and begged to watch him in the house. I’m so glad! now my puppy can stay in her cool condo all day while I get a nice ride in. When it’s time for myself and others to get the puppy from the owner’s ice cold home, he doesn’t even want to go with me. He wants to stay in her perfectly cool air-conditioned locale. I’d prefer to do that too however I do not want to come through and impose, apparently.
