The classroom where we take painting lessons is always freezing

Something is definitely wrong at the art school where we take oil painting lessons.

The room where we have our classes is always absolutely freezing.

It doesn’t really seem to matter if it’s the summer or in the winter, either. Over the summer last year, we noticed that we always needed to bring a sweater or even a blanket with us to class. My younger daughter always brought a big fuzzy blanket with her to class because the A/C vent is situated right above her workstation. She would always come out of the class freezing and ready to start heating up once we got out to our car. I thought this was so funny, since we don’t use the air conditioning that much at home. My family just isn’t used to that much air conditioning, nor those kinds of cold temperatures. I thought at first that it was just an issue with the A/C in the classroom. I mean, lots of places have trouble with the thermostats during the summer. It’s pretty hard to keep the A/C set at the right temperature. There’s always a fine line as to whether the A/C needs to be turned up or down in the summer. A lot of people like the A/C to be set around seventy degrees, but for some people that’s just way too cold. At our painting classroom, though, the problem extends into the winter time, too. The room stays cold in the winter, even though it always sounds like the furnace is running at all times. The air that comes out of the heating vents is always lukewarm at best. I feel like that room just has HVAC problems, all the way around. I feel like it should start heating up at some point during the year but it is always cold!
