HVAC business is now donating some of their profits to charity

Although I am not generally involved in the businesses around me, sometimes I find myself liking a particular business, and because of that, I usually do a lot more for them.

As of recently that business has been the heating and cooling business.

The heating and air conditioning business has been in our area for the past 10 years, and has done fairly well. I guess to help give back to the community, they have decided to pick up a charity, and donate some of the profits to that charity. The charity they are donating to is a cancer research charity, which I think is a wonderful idea. They actually have specific products up for sale, like an air purifier, that all profits from the sales go to charity, which I find to be pretty awesome. Something else I’ve heard from them, but I haven’t tried this out myself yet, is that when they send out a HVAC technician for a HVAC repair or tune ups, the heating and cooling professional brings along a donation bin and informs the customer about the charity, and whether they would want to donate themselves. Even if the person declines, money is still being donated to charity in the end. I’m just really glad to see that some companies care enough to start giving back, especially on something as bad as cancer, we need some more positivity in these times. I plan on getting HVAC service very soon, and when the heating and cooling tech comes over with the donation bin, I’ve got $20 already prepared.
