The air quality in my home was no longer good

I have a nice home. Being a homeowner and keeping my house nice is one of the things I take pride in. I put a lot of work into making my home look nice, and when I get complimented by my friends, I know that all of the effort I have put into it really pays off. A house can appear nice on the inside, but what is the point if you don’t have good indoor air quality? If you ask me it is the indoor air quality that makes the place! I have always had excellent indoor air, but within the last week I noticed I was starting to have problems. The air no longer felt as clean as it normally did, it felt more thick and heavy. I have two standing air purifiers in my home to help control the air quality, and suspecting that maybe one was broken, I checked on both of them. However, they both were working fine. I thought maybe I was imagining it, but as the week went on the air felt worse than before. I decided to play it safe and call the local heating and air conditioning provider in my area. When the HVAC technician arrived at my home, he took a look at my heater and my air conditioner. When he was finished looking it over, he told me the problem was my filter. I use a HEPA filter to ensure that I get only the best indoor air quality, however I had long forgotten to change it and now the filter was filthy and no longer working. Once the air filter had been changed, my indoor air quality was as good as new again.
