Noone enjoys being in debt, but my situation was interesting. It turned out that the debt pushed me into doing something that changed my life. I was in plenty of student loan debt from going to college. While I did earn my bachelor’s degree, I wasn’t really interested in what I went to school for. For me it was kind of like just passing the time but I did learn a lot of cool stuff along the way. Well, when I was finished with school, I realized a few things. I needed to find some kind of work and fast. I also needed to start paying back my student loans and how was I going to do that without being able to find a nice career. It’s funny because I ended up going to school again but this time to get my HVAC certification. I hurried through the program but I was able to retain most of the information I learned. I was able to pass my HVAC certification test and I started working as an HVAC professional. I initially did this because it seemed like a great way to pay off my student loans, but it turned out that I enjoyed doing the work immensely. It all came so naturally to me like this was what I was meant to do in life. I also enjoyed working with all the nice customers as most people were thankful when I was there helping them with their HVAC equipment. I kind of wish I would have started with this career in the first place, but I suppose everything happens for a reason.
