We’ve been in each other’s life for some time, having been buddies since the 3rd grade.

There are many people who never stuck around, but we’ve always remained tight. We can rely on one another, for better or worse, because we love each other just enough to always tell the truth. The time we graduated school we told our buddy of plans of going to school to study the history of Middle Eastern pottery. He told us that was the wrong decision. Our buddy was going into Heating, Ventilation and A/C work, and encouraged us to come with him. We decided to follow our own path, and later he was running his own small Heating, Ventilation and A/C service corporation, while we were $100,000 in debt and unable to get a task. It turns out that our buddy was right, we weren’t wise, because we had pursued education in something no one needed. Our buddy was practical, because he knew every single person in town needed central AC throughout the year. There was a strong and permanent demand for Heating, Ventilation and A/C services, and not so much for an expert in Middle Eastern pottery. We saw it fit to hedge our bets and request our buddy to hire us on part time in his Heating, Ventilation and A/C business while we applied for tasks with universities across the country. Once again, our buddy was bluntly even-handed with us, and said he’d only hire us if we were enrolled in Heating, Ventilation and A/C certification courses, otherwise we were screwed.
