Being one that sort of tries to see the positive of every situation can be challenging at times.
I want to see the best in everything but reality just isn’t always going to play along.
For sure, I see this every day inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. I invest in someone, help them along and then they end up trying to take advantage. That’s a hurtful thing and I just hate it when it happens. But, I just keep doing my best to stay positive and help whoever I can when it comes to working inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. In fact, I had a situation with an HVAC unit on the house we bought that was similar. The house was great and we were eager to make an offer. But the heating and cooling equipment were a sticking point. The HVAC unit had been well cared for and the seller had all the HVAC maintenance documentation. Stil, it was twenty years old and not at all current with HVAC technology of this era. So much has changed with residential HVAC over the past two decades that we just weren’t into keeping that old HVAC unit. The seller offered different concessions to keep from calling the HVAC company to replace the HVAC unit. Finally, we simply had to walk away and took our offer off the table. That lasted about two days before the seller did call the HVAC professionals and had the HVAC unit replaced. This was one of the few times where I didn’t try to look at something that was obviously wrong and just see the positives.
