I truly got their attention this time around.
Water has been leaking in the laundry room for the past month. I informed the landlord that we had a small leak plus he ignored my request for a repair. I guess he didn’t think it was an emergency, but now there is mold growing in the laundry room plus my children are having a reaction. I knew the humidity was going to cause mold drawbacks. It is the whole reason why I wanted the repair staff to look at the leak in the first place. I took my kid to the doctor on Saturday, because he had an absolutely raspy cough, and the doctor took one look at his throat plus asked if we had mold in my place. I thought about the leak in the laundry room! As soon as I got back to my place, I contacted the repair staff. I told them exactly what my doctor said plus suggested it was due to the mold concerns in my property. The repair staff director called soon after I left the message. I truly got their attention this time around. This afternoon I had many construction crews on my property working in the laundry room. One of them is now working on removing the mold plus the other person is now working on the leak… By the end of the afternoon the problem was finally fixed. It’s a shame that the only time they were worried is when they thought I might sue them because of mold growth. I absolutely wish I could afford to buy a property of my own, however even in this area, it’s totally unaffordable for a single mom.
