Staying home motivated HVAC upgrade

When it comes to just about anything that I own, I will use it until I get every bit of value I can from it.

This was the way I was raised and it stuck. I have shirts in my closet that have been around for decades. The truck I drive in over 20 years old. It’s still running and is my everyday vehicle even though it doesn’t have any air conditioning. I’m really committed to making sure that I get my money’s worth when it comes to my stuff. That was true with our HVAC equipment as well. When we bought this house, the seller wasn’t at all interested in replacing the HVAC equipment. I couldn’t really blame him since it was only 12 years old and had plenty of life in it. Plus, he had all the documentation from the HVAC company when it came to the HVAC maintenance. That HVAC equipment had gotten seasonal HVAC maintenance every Fall and Spring since it was installed. He was willing to knock some money off the price of the house and I was fine with keeping the HVAC equipment. And even though it wasn’t the best, it provided decent heating and cooling for us. But once we were all locked down inside the central air conditioning of the house during the pandemic, I started thinking about an HVAC upgrade. I really wanted better quality heating and air from the residential HVAC. Yet, the thing was still running and that made it so hard to replace it. Finally, my wife made a great argument for replacing the heating and cooling equipment and I called the HVAC company. I’m so glad I did as the new residential HVAC is just the sort of quality heating and air we were hoping for.
