We need an HVAC system in our garage so that we can turn it into extra living space. We have way too many people living in my house right now and I really need some extra space before I lose my mind. My oldest son moved back home after he finished with college, so now he is back with all of his stuff. My younger son has people over all the time, and he’s always got at least three friends and his girlfriend hanging around the house and eating our food all the time. My brother came to stay with us for three months while they finish up building their house, and now my mom is staying with us too because they are fumigating her condo at the moment. I feel like I am going to lose it! If the addition were already finished, that would make my life so much easier. However, right now we are already trying to figure out the HVAC situation out there in the garage. We never anticipated anyone living out there in the garage other than our cars and maybe the lawnmower! So, there is no ventilation ductwork out there and we’re going to have to have some installed if we want to attach the garage to our existing heating and cooling system. I’m not sure if that’s the right thing to do though. Maybe we should just put a ductless mini split out there in the garage. I want to do whatever is the simplest thing, because I want to get this extra space very soon.
