I have a wife that I just adore and that makes me a very lucky person indeed.
We have been together for over 30 years thus far.
Our life together has been much more pleasure than not. I think we have one of the best partnerships that I have ever observed. However, now and then, something will take place which will just make me shake my head. We make our home in the south where the HVAC is a hugely essential part of life. We have been fortunate to have our cooling needs met with a great HVAC heat pump. It’s super efficient and that’s why it’s so popular here. During the hottest part of the year, I stay mostly inside doing my own thing. My wife, on the other hand, practically lives outside. She spends hour after hour in her garden and landscaping the yard. This is her happy place. I like the cooling comfort of the HVAC but, I do go out and help when it’s a two person job. The other morning, I woke up to the unusual feeling of sweaty heat in the house. I checked the thermostat to see that the HVAC was not running at all. First thing I did was make sure that it had power but, that didn’t help at all. So, the only thing that I could do was to call the HVAC people for some help. They came out and found the problem immediately. It appeared that my wife had raked up a bunch of debris and was about to lay down a tarp to haul it off. It’s just that she had laid the tarp over the HVAC and forgot. Obviously, this choked out the HVAC and resulted in a very expensive HVAC repair.
