On the day of your boiler installation, help your HVAC technician to make a quick start by clearing out the area around your high-efficiency boiler, making it easy for your technician to access. For the most part, replacing or changing your old boiler with a similar, high-efficiency boiler can be a good move, as it will make the installation process a lot easier. However, you need to be careful to ensure the new boiler is adapted for your current heating needs. Once you’ve chosen the type of high-efficiency boiler you require, the right size, and where you’ll place it, remove the old boiler. Before removing or unscrewing anything, shut the gas off, then break your gas feed so you can cap it safely. Alter your pipework where you can add your extra piping.
