It’s easier to remember to change your HVAC filter if you buy them in advance

Now that I’m working more and making more money, I can finally afford to shop at bulk goods stores like Costco and Sam’s Club.

You pay a yearly subscription fee to have the privilege of shopping in their stores. I buy eye glasses and electronics there too and get great deals compared to other superstores. If you have children and pets you can get food for both at extremely low prices assuming that you’re fine with getting a lot at once. Once I bought a massive jar of mayonnaise that I was convinced I would use quickly, but it went bad and had to be thrown away before I finished half of it. However, non-perishable products like napkins, paper towels, soap, cleaners, and other essentials are much cheaper when you get a little more at a time at the bulk goods store. One of my favorite products to get a bulk good store is a pack of HVAC filters. It’s harder for me to forget to change my HVAC filter if I have a box of brand new ones in my supply closet that I see with my eyes on a daily basis. It makes it much easier to swap them out if you have a new one just a few feet away from the air return for the central HVAC system. I also get special air conditioner filters that are rated for allergens like pollen and fungal spores, but they also are coated with activated charcoal crystals to absorb odors in the area. I know some pet owners that swear by these charcoal odor-blocking HVAC filters. They’re more money, but definitely help improve your indoor air quality.
