Some people stay in 1 occupation their whole life, but for me that is just too boring of a way to go through life.
The only way that I would stay in 1 field my whole life is if I really enjoyed doing it, but I guess I haven’t found it yet.
I thought standup comedy was going to be my passion for life but about several years ago I peaked as well as thought it would be a fine time to exit stage left. I did about 2000 shows over my 17 years in the craft as well as had fun. HVAC equipment repairs is my main gig now but I have been practicing the drums as well as singing for a couple years now as well as feel that it may be my up-to-date passion. I appreciate working with the HVAC techs during the day but I feel that tunes is where my heart lies as well as that I could do it for the rest of my life. I just need to learn the drums a little more as well as keep working on my singing as I still haven’t found my voice with it yet. The local business near me offers lessons in singing as well as I guess I will go there in a couple of weeks once I save up some money. I guess I could take a few lessons as well as then be on my own after that. The heating as well as cooling corp where I work told me that once I get the singing lessons they will have me do some shows for the clients. Life is great!
