I don’t know what to do, but I am afraid that she is going to get a toothache or a cavity or something and so she is just going to have to do it
My daughter hates going to the dentist with a burning passion. She would rather do anything at all than go to the dentist, including being eaten by a shark or mauled by a bear. She thinks that dental care is the same thing as going to a torture chamber or something like that. I try and try to get her to go to the dentist since she needs to get her regular teeth cleaning appointment done, but she refuses to go. I even told her that I would take her to a special kids dentist near me, but she just flat out refuses to go. I have tried forcing her and bribing her and even scaring her by telling her that her teeth were going to fall out, but nothing works. The kids dentist that has an office near us is supposed to be really great with kids. They even have a sign that says they are a dental clinic that specializes in sensitive teeth, so I figured that it would be really great for my daughter. I don’t know what to do, but I am afraid that she is going to get a toothache or a cavity or something and so she is just going to have to do it. I guess I’m going to have to knock her out to get her there, though. I think that I could probably just drag her to the pediatric dentist near me, but I don’t know if I can actually get her to go through the door. She would probably run away the second that I turn my back on her!
