I mean, we’ve all had awful jobs; Everyone has taken their turn laboring retail or fast food, I’m sure, and those positions leave a lasting impression, and i also will never forget laboring at my current job, which should not be nearly as angry as it is.

That means, I sit in the tiny office all afternoon plus stare at a laptop; Despite residing in the deep south plus having an extremely hot production space, I freeze the entire afternoon. There is A/C streaming down on me for every moment that I sit stagnant plus punch numbers on a keyboard, then my hands, feet, plus nose turn red. I shiver in my seat, no matter how various jackets I bring with me. That isn’t the worst part of the position, but. The worst part is that my coworkers purposely turn the A/C this low to make me aggravated. Every afternoon, they try to beat me to the office so they can adjust the temperature control. They crank the A/C down to 65 degrees plus leave the room… By the time I arrive at my desk, I can practically see my breath in the air. I’ve tried to talk to most people about raising the temperature inside when the A/C is running, but no one cares. They actually seem to cherish torturing me with the cooling system. If I ever try to nudge the air temperature control settings up a few degrees I can expect it to be even colder the next afternoon.
