We should be getting our business cards for our band in two afternoons & then I can start handing them out to clubs & bars to try & get gigs this summer.
In the coming winter season my nice friend and I are going to be heading north to the mountains to do shows in the ski resorts, which should be a fun time because my nice friend and I can ski in the day & do shows at night.
That would be a pretty cool winter if my nice friend and I can pull it off, which I think my nice friend and I can do if my nice friend and I contact the clubs early enough. A fireplace by the phase to keep us warm, or a small space heater, is pretty much all my nice friend and I need to be comfortable while playing tunes for the skiers. Who knows where life will take us with this tunes venture but my nice friend and I are sure going to try & make something happen while my nice friend and I are still alive. I like working on Heating & A/C systems but it can get kind of boring over time, so playing tunes at night in temperature controlled clubs would be a nice refreshing change from the humdrum work for the local supplier each week. I don’t know how people work at a task for 40 years, a task that they don’t even like just for currency, even though I guess some people have no choice so they just do it. I have a choice though, so I don’t have to do heating & cooling work the rest of my life if I can make this tunes thing work over the next few years.
