Cooling down in the summer season

We should be getting our business cards for our band in two days and then we can start handing them out to clubs and bars to try and get gigs this summer. In the coming winter season we are going to be heading north to the mountains to do shows in the ski resorts, which should be a fun time because we can ski in the day and do shows at night. That would be a pretty cool winter if we can pull it off, which I think we can do if we contact the clubs early enough. A fireplace by the stage to keep us warm, or a small space heater, is pretty much all we need to be comfortable while playing music for the skiers. Who knows where life will take us with this music venture but we are sure going to try and make something happen while we are still alive. I like working on HVAC systems but it can get kind of boring over time, so playing music at night in climate controlled clubs would be a nice refreshing change from the humdrum work for the local contractor each week. I don’t know how people work at a job for 40 years, a job that they don’t even like just for money, but I guess some people have no choice so they just do it. I have a choice though, so I don’t have to do heating and cooling work the rest of my life if I can make this music thing work over the next few years.
