I am happy to say that I live in a climate that is always cool and windy.
Well, it is almost always cool and windy.
Summertime is about the time when it begins to pick up heat wise, but apart from that, the rest of the year is very mild. I also live in a climate that is prone to rain, and so I get a lot of cloudy days as well, which helps the cooling feeling. This is especially helpful when it is summer, as it helps cool the summer heat down. However, there are some periods of time when it is just brutally hot and sunny. Sometimes for weeks on end the sun doesn’t go away and it is painfully hot. In those times, that is when I rely on my A/C system to help get me through the unbearable heat. My air conditioning component probably doesn’t get used that often, at least not compared to other HVAC systems, so I make sure to get frequent HVAC service to make sure it stays in the best shape. The last thing I would ever want is to not have a cooling unit during one of the hottest points of the summer. During the rest of the year when it is much cooler, I just bring a desk fan with me. A desk fan can be just as helpful as a HVAC system, if you get a good quality one. It also helps if the day is already cool to begin with, because otherwise, the fan will just be blowing back hot air. After the summer is over, I use my fan almost everyday, although sometimes I will use the desk fan and HVAC machine together for the best results.
