Remembering to complete all of my household chores is so not anywhere consistent.
And an aging brain is no help at all. Yet, that does not relieve me of my household duties and responsibilities. That has turned in to making so many lists that I have a hard time keeping up with them. My wife has now started putting sticky notes on the front door. They are hot pink so I can’t miss them. I then add that list to the others. As the car’s HVAC system cools or heats up the car, I review my lists. Our son has helped out a lot to help me remember what I need to do. He set all sorts of alarms and notices in my phone. He even set a monthly alarm for me to remember to change the HVAC air filter. It actually shows up on all of my devices as this is an essential duty that I often forget. Yet, the HVAC air filter change is so important to the health of the HVAC. I started buying the HVAC air filters by the case. But, that doesn’t help much if I can’t remember to change them. The HVAC air filter is key to making sure the HVAC gets the main thing it needs which is unobstructed air flow. Leaving a clogged, dirty air filter forces the HVAC unit to work harder. This unnecessarily heaps stress on the delicate parts in the HVAC. It takes less than a few minutes for an HVAC air filter change. But doing so helps both the air that we breathe and makes sure the HVAC is getting all the air flow it needs.
