On Monday, we had a staff meeting at the workplace.
However, it was incredibly freezing in the room. The conference room where we meet for all of our staff meetings is consistently having major issues with the heating and cooling system that’s in there… I don’t truly understand what’s wrong with it, however the conference room has terrible indoor air quality. There’s just something wrong with it and there’s certainly no way to adjust the thermostat regularly… Whenever I set up a meeting in that room, I pretty much always try to go in a couple of minutes early so I can change the thermostat settings. That way, I will actually know that the temperature is going to be just right whenever we have a meeting… However, most of the time it does not work! Most of the time, it seems as though I never even touched the thermostat at all! I recognize that there is absolutely something faulty in the Heating and A/C equipment setup in that particular room. The rest of the office does not have the same setback. Even the other conference rooms don’t have this problem, however periodically that is the only conference room that happens to be available. Whenever that happens, you just have to deal with it. On Monday, I walked into the room whenever it was time for the staff meeting and I could have sworn that I could see my breath in the air. The air conditioner equipment, which had not worked at all the month before, was on overtime. It was brutally chilly in that room and we finished the meeting up very quickly.
