My girlfriends want to take a girls’ trip this year to the mountains.
Typically, we would have our trip in the Summer on some tropical beach on an exotic island somewhere.
However, this year, we had to skip the trip because one of my friends got sick and could not make it on the trip. Although we could have gone on the trip without her, we opted to skip it all together. It was the best decision that we made because we visited her while she was sick, and we had a little tiki party at her house which was a lot of fun. Anyway, although the trip to the mountain is a new adventure for us, I am looking forward to it. The only problem is, we live in the Southern part of the country where the Winters are pretty mild and we get no snow. So, going to the mountains is going to be a bit of a shock to my system. I checked the temperature for the week we will be there and it will be in the mid-30s in the mornings and between 45 and 55 during the day. The amenities state that the cabin has a HVAC system and space heaters are also provided. There is also a fireplace inside the cabin for an additional source of heating. If it’s going to be that cold, I am going to need the HVAC, the space heater as well as the fireplace. I don’t like being cold at all, so these heating sources will be my only saving grace. I am looking forward to the trip and I am glad that the cabin at least has an HVAC system so that I can be warm and cozy.
