Odd stink in the condo after lighting the oil furnace

Every one of us just came off a genuinely long Winter time and I was blissful when the people I was with and I were able to shut down the Heating and A/C plan for a few mornings! I was undoubtedly hoping that it was the end of having to use it for the season but with an unexpected cold front coming in the people I was with and I decided to turn it back on.

  • I should have known better than to suppose the people I was with and I were done because it is only the middle of May but the weather has been so nice that I was hopeful; At any rate the people I was with and I turned the oil furnace back on and noticed that there was an unusual stink in the condo that the people I was with and I had not had before, and my partner said that it stinked like something was burning and wasn’t sure why that would be the case, and the stink continued each time the oil furnace kicked on and I became distraught that there was a extreme problem.

I called our Heating and A/C dealer and had them schedule an appointment to have a serviceman come out instantly. I didn’t want to run the risk of a problem that could cause a fire so the people I was with and I shut off the oil furnace until they arrived, once the serviceman had done his inspection he came back to inform us that a single of the circuits in the oil furnace had malfunctioned and it was causing the component to overheat. I could not understand why that would have happened all of a sudden thought he said with older systems like ours sometimes these things just do. He commanded that the people I was with and I have an electrical panel inside the Heating and A/C plan updated and also left us with a brochure for a new component if the people I was with and I were interested.
