Even though it wasn’t even close to Halloween, I legitimately loved wearing costumes and costume parties in general.
I assume I never lost that area of myself from when I was a little kid.
Halloween was our favorite holiday and I went to every costume party they ever had. Well, it didn’t have to be Halloween to hold a costume party, so, I thought it would be fun to have 1 over the weekend. I rented a nice arena that had an open room that would host all of the food, drinks and even dancing. It even had a pool in the back, but I didn’t plan on using that. I contacted all of our friends and family members and told them about the party, most of them were able to come, to our excitement. When the weekend came, I got our costume, which was a Catwoman costume and waited for the rest of our friends to come. Most of them arrived on time, and the people I was with and I were able to abruptly beginning the party! I blasted loud songs from the speakers and a lot of people were talking and eating. I saw a lot of superheros, a few ghosts and a couple of creatures like myself. I assume with all of the actions and dancing, almost everyone abruptly became overly hot, and when I looked for a cooling system, the building didn’t have any! What modern building doesn’t have an a/c system!? That’s just crazy! I was legitimately unhappy that I didn’t check for a modern Heating, Ventilation and A/C component earlier, however the party was ruined, the people I was with and I all just decided to convert it to a pool party instead, and almost everyone piled on into the pool.
