In today’s life, I have more things to worry about than the HVAC system.
- I tried to tell my landlord that I needed to have the furnace fixed, but he refused to even take my phone calls.
I sent him an email and finally I sent a registered letter. I had to call a lawyer and get him to do something even before I had someone call and talk to me about the furnace. I went an entire month without any heat. I had moved in with my girlfriend, but she didn’t like how angry I was getting over the entire situation. She finally kicked me out and broke up with me. It made me realize how obsessed I became with some things. The furnace was one of those things. She told me I should have just called thed HVAC company and had them repair the furnace. I could have had the HVAC company send the bill to him since the house is in his name and not mine. She also told me I could have had the furnace repaired and paid the bill. I could have sent proof of the repair and had him take it off my next month’s rent. I didn’t give any thought to any of this. I told her that was the reason I needed her in my life. I needed someone to keep me grounded, but she said I was looking for someone to solve all of my problems for me. She then told me she had more things in life to worry about, than my HVAC situation.
