My last step of the afternoon

Every single afternoon before I go to bed I have a quarterly routine that I follow, then i consistently brush our teeth, make sure that all the lights are off and then the honestly last thing I do is either turn down or turn up our thermostat.

In the Wintertide I consistently make sure to turn down the thermostat a few notches from what I have it at while I am awake.

Because the central heating sometimes gets to be too much in our living room while I am trying to sleep. This can cause our body to recognize too tepid and dry and sometimes even get a single of those dry coughs, however setting the thermostat at a nice even 79 degrees makes it perfect before bed. Then in the Summer time it is the same scenario but in reverse. I will turn up the thermostat to around 74 because it will sometimes get too cold with the air vents blowing directly on me while I am sleeping! Your body temperature drops when you sleep, so you do not need as much air conditioning as you do when you are awake and moving around the house. My thermostat is a single of those aged dial thermostats too, then which guess it or not I prefer. There is no battery needed like with a smart thermostat. And they rarely cut down on you for any kind of electrical reason like some digital thermostats can do sometimes. I am honestly cheerful having an aged fashioned dial thermostat. Dial thermostats are the original thermostat. And like most of everything, older is better in our humble opinion!
