I undoubtedly wanted to get my dad a nice gift for his birthday this year, however he’s super hard to buy for.
I always end up waiting until the last minute to find something for him because I can’t ever think of something that he doesn’t already have and that he would love.
It’s super annoying. I also have found that he has this habit of buying things that he wants for himself right before Christmas or his anniversary! It drives me nuts, however there’s nothing that I can do about it really. This year, though, I think I have finally found the right thing. It’s something that he wants despite the fact that he doesn’t even know it exists, so it’s perfect. My dad has been complaining about his old temperature control component for a while now. He mentions to me that the temperature on his thermostat is always up and down, and that it might be affecting his air conditioner and furnace. Whenever I hear him complaining about it, I instantly think about how I could turn that into a birthday present for him this year. I started doing some research about unique types of temperature control units. I looked online for different heating and cooling websites and I found something called a smart temperature control component that sounded amazing. My dad likes all kinds of new gadgets and I think that the fact that he could adjust his temperature control from anywhere at all with his smartphone would be something that he would undoubtedly like.
