Working out in an air conditioned gym

I miss the afternoons when I could go to the gym without having to worry about our own health

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I haven’t genuinely had the option to work out as much as I’d like. First of all, I don’t have the component needed for a full body workout. I tried to purchase the necessary weights, but I guess I wasn’t the only 1 with that idea. Everywhere I looked, stores were sold out on hand weights, mats, jump ropes, as well as kettlebells. It felt like a lost cost. I began running outside, as it was our only option. However, when I run outside, it’s often too hot for myself and others to go genuinely far… Being trapped in the heat is not an good workout. I love to workout at the gym because the air conditioning is always so pleasant. While I have nice air conditioning in our apartment, nothing seems to compare to the cool air at the gym. They must use an air cleaner because the air quality is so disinfect as well as crisp! That being said, gyms are beginning to open up again. The advertisements say that gyms are the safest as well as cleanest locales to workout while in this pandemic. However, I find that hard to believe. I am torn between our desire to workout in a comfortable air conditioned space, as well as our fear of contracting the virus over something nonessential. It’s not so much a question of whether or not I love to workout with air conditioning or without, however of what I am willing to risk. I miss the afternoons when I could go to the gym without having to worry about our own health. I guess that I will just have to suck it up as well as workout outside. At least I can come home to a nice cool home after our runs.
