When I moved into the village, I planned a celebration with our neighbors! I wanted to get to guess them better plus I wanted to start out in the town on the right foot; So, the Friday day after I moved in, I went door to door introducing myself plus delivering invitations to our little celebration. It was a month away, on a Friday night, a barbecue. Kids were invited plus there was no reason for anybody not to come. I easily liked most of our neighbors, except for this 1 guy, Steve… He was rather gruff with myself and others plus gave myself and others the impression that I was easily bothering him. I was easily hoping that he wouldn’t come, however he did, and it was a nice thing; My air conditioner couldn’t handle the celebration plus Steve is an Heating and Air Conditioning professional. As soon as people began arriving, our little cabin started to heat up. I thought it was because the doors were being open plus closed a lot however it soon became apparent that the problem was more serious than that. Steve insisted on looking at our Heating and Air Conditioning unit for me. It’s a self contained central heat plus a/c unit outside our back window. Steve told myself and others that it was an straight-forward fix plus went to get his labor van, the people I was with and I could hear him outside cursing at the Heating and Air Conditioning unit plus I didn’t guess whether to laugh or hide, and but, Steve got our Heating and Air Conditioning unit up plus running plus he never sent myself and others a bill. Of course, I’m dating him now.
