My parents can never do anything halfway.
When they set out to do something, it has to be done to perfection, or it’s considered not done well.
My parents are truly well known around neighborhood because of their fancy ways. When they became empty nesters, they wanted to downsize into a smaller home. Where everyone in their situation would simply sell their condo and purchase a smaller one, our parents decided to build an honestly current condo from the ground up. It took them over a year to completely finish the build, because everything was completely custom designed. They imported brick from Italy for the front of the home, and the pool was custom designed for their backyard oasis. My parents also went to severe lengths to install a geothermal heat pump for their furnace. Of course they couldn’t install a normal central Heating, Ventilation plus A/C idea enjoy other houses constantly do. Not only was a geothermal heat pump expensive, however it was time consuming. Thankfully, a geothermal heat pump was easier to install with current construction, and it would pay itself off over the years. My parents loved how economically friendly a geothermal heat pump was, and they knew it was a wonderful investment. It also increased the value of the condo tremendously. I love their attention to detail, despite the fact that I don’t guess I’d have the patience to custom design a condo enjoy they chose to do. Don’t get myself and others wrong, I love visiting their immaculate home, however it truly cost them a fortune!
