I’m going to sell our portable air conditioner for a weird kind of air conditioning

Unlike portable or window air conditioners that have both components within a single enclosure, ductless mini splits have condensers outside love a common split system

I’m going to transport back in with our parents for a few years. I have struggled to save cash while paying exorbitant rental prices in our developing city. Since our mom just broke her hip plus needs additional help around the house, our parents were eager for myself and others to transport back apartment for a while. I’d be living in the sunroom with their two dogs, which surprisingly has a lot of space compared to the common living rooms in the house. Unfortunately, the sunroom doesn’t have an Heating plus A/C vent in its ceiling or wall, so they have had to use a portable air conditioner whenever they don’t just leave the sliding glass door open. If the door is left open, a steady modern of air gets in. At least it’s enough for the two dogs, however if I wanted to ever shut the door for privacy, I’d need to use their portable air conditioner. The only concern is that this cooling plan is fairly inefficient. This is the first time either of them has tried to use the portable air conditioner on a quarterly basis. The increase on their energy bill was much higher than any of us was expecting. I decided to look into buying a ductless mini split air conditioner for the sunroom. It’s exactly what the name implies—just love common central air conditioners, these units feature a separated, or “split” affixion between the hot plus cold end of the refrigerant cycle. Unlike portable or window air conditioners that have both components within a single enclosure, ductless mini splits have condensers outside love a common split system. The other difference is there are no ducts, because they are put in whatever room they’re intended to cool. If you used them exclusively for a house, you’d be putting them in weird rooms plus zones of the house.
