I have heard of underfloor heating and cooling but I didn’t consider it for my own apartment until recently.
I can understand how underfloor heating works well because tepid air rises! Besides, my Grandmother used to have underfloor heating.
I have fond memories of going to her house, standing on the heated floor, and opening up Christmas presents as a little kid. But I didn’t guess that underfloor cooling would labor as well. I assumed all of the cold air would just rest at the floor level. But recently this misconception was changed. That is because I found out that the computer room in the multimillion dollar corporation I labor in has underfloor cooling. The IT tech told myself and others that the underfloor cooling keeps a more even temperature for all of the towers. She also said that the underfloor cooling is cleaner. That is because forced air cooling spreads dust around! No matter how wash you keep the ductwork, there is still going to be dust blowing all over the venue. That is not tplot with underfloor cooling. My forced air system has been having problems for a few years now and I keep having to call professionals out to service it. That’s why I’ve been researching up-to-date heating and cooling options… For the first time I am thinking about getting underfloor heating and cooling installed in my own home. I just need to find an Heating & A/C corporation that can do it. I bet it will raise my property value as well. Not that both of us plan to sell anytime soon.
