The two of us all need a little extra help these afternoons.
At least, it appears that way to me.
I suppose with all the unrest, the pandemic in addition to just the general terrible mood of the country is getting to all of us. Perhaps that is over sensitizing the situation but, I can just suppose it. In a lot of ways, I am almost thankful to be working from the HVAC comfort of our house. I do our best to just stay put inside the HVAC in order to maintain our health. But, it doesn’t come without challenges. I think that our health in addition to the health of our family is regularly on our mind. To that end, I have done something recently. After reading about the direct connect between awful air quality in addition to awful health, I decided to make some swings. I found out that the EPA considers awful air quality the fourth leading environmental hazard in this country. That sort of stopped me in our tracks. I found out that awful air quality forces the immune response to argument off a lot of things it otherwise wouldn’t have to. I knew immediately that I needed to make some swings to the HVAC. Having a strong immune response is more pressing now than it certainly ever has been. I instantly threw out the cheap, paper HVAC air filters. These things do nothing however protect the HVAC when it comes to air quality. Instead, I have upgraded to the HEPA category air filter. This thing entirely removes over 99 percent of harmful airborne contaminants. It’s a minor change to the HVAC however a sizable change for our immune health.
