They say 3 times a charm right? Apparently not for me, because this will officially make the third heating and system I have gone through in the past 5 years.
The first place was a crappy apartment that I moved into because I didn’t really have much choice.
I remember when I asked about the heating and cooling units, the lady told me that of all 342 apartments, there were only 2 that were having issues with the HVAC systems, and one of them was already being seen by a HVAC technician. Well that gave me 340 apartments that had great working A/C, but guess which one that I got stuck with? Yep, one of the two that had heating and cooling issues, and no, it wasn’t even the one being seen by a HVAC tech. I had so many issues with the HVAC in that apartment, I just eventually gave up and accepted defeat. The 2nd place I had higher hopes for, since it was brand new, and the previous owners said the HVAC component worked just fine for them. Well it did, for about 5 months, then it suddenly died and I had to call a HVAC repairman. The repairman said that it was unusual, because it was only 7 years old, and they usually go to 10. So I had that one replaced, and had high hopes again, thinking 3 times a charm. Well after the successful air conditioning installation, it has been a total of 2 months, 3 weeks and 4 days and I am back to having issues with my air conditioning device. I always end up with the bad HVAC.
