I have my mother home lay from time to time when I go on supplier trips or on a holiday. It is absolutely nice having someone there to feed my cat, water the plants plus bring in packages. My mother then gets access to my pool, the food that would spoil in my fridge plus can utilize all my fitness equipment. It is a absolutely nice trip for her. Well I didn’t realize until I came lake house that my mother had never been trained on my smart thermostat. I had substituted my basic dial thermostat with a way more current one. I also invested in a smart smoke detector, lighting plus security camera system. Everything can all be run off one control app in my home. It has been super convenient adding more security plus having c control all from my phone. My mother doesn’t have a smartphone though. So when she home sat for myself and others she had to push buttons to change the heating plus cooling. Since everything is all hooked on one control pad, my mom absolutely messed up my pre-set programs. When I came back I realized she had changed my lighting program to where they turn on at 3am randomly. The security cameras were turned to face the wrong way plus my smoke detector was totally off. My smart thermostat had no idea what temperature to do either since my mother was always messing with it. I will need to teach her how to just alter the Heating plus Air Conditioning settings plus not my other stuff.
