Sometimes I feel like I have continuous bad luck running in the background, at least when it comes to things breaking.
Because it seems like things never break at the right time.
No, I guess there is never a right time for something to break, but something always happens right before I have to make a big decision, and then my plans are messed up. Just in the last few months, I’ve had 4 things break and need repair. Once I finally thought that I had fixed everything, and nothing had broken in awhile, I figured it would be safe for me to splurge a little on myself. I have been needing a new car for awhile now, since mine has put on a lot of miles. I found a car I really liked, had a nice price and with little mileage. Best part, the seats were dark leather, my favorite, and something I haven’t had before. As I was arranging to buy the car, then my HVAC unit started acting funny. I had a sinking feeling that an incoming repair bill was heading my way, and I was right. Now I had to make a decision, get the beautiful car I have dreamed of, or choose the heating and cooling unit. Without my HVAC system, I would be cold and hot all of the time, and I don’t know how that would affect my life. But, if I chose the air conditioning unit, I would lose this one opportunity to get such a lovely car. I guess I am going to have to go with the air conditioner, because I need that for my focus and work at home. I’m going to miss that car.
