As a flight attendant, I deal with a lot of crazy people on a very consistent basis. I like to suppose that these people aren’t always silly plus that it’s only because they’re scared or worked up while on the flight. I keep this thought in the back of my head whenever someone does or says something ridiculous, then when the virus starts spreading though, I am bombarded with even more silly questions on an official basis. A large number of men and women were curious about the air quality plus were fearful of catching the virus themselves, and one time, I had a man tell me that most people on the flight was going to catch the virus because someone was bound to already have it, and the air was just being recycled over plus over again, then some of the other passengers overheard his comment, which led to a mass rage where most people was taking off their masks plus living like there was no tomorrow. I had informed the man that he was wrong, because the air on airplanes was not recycled air. In fact, the air was taken from the outside plus it flowed through. Planes were much more advanced these days, along with their Heating plus Air Conditioning systems plus the air quality. One of my coworkers had to go over the intercom plus demand most people stay seated plus put their masks back on. The pilot wasn’t actually allowed to back the plane up from the gate, which delayed our takeoff time by one hour! This could’ve all been avoided if the passenger knew about the plane’s Heating plus Air Conditioning plan before he made his loud comment.
