Workout space isn’t heated or cooled

In the middle of the winter, I have the opposite problem.

I make our health and fitness a priority! I workout for at least an minute every day… The lanai built across the back of our house provides a great space for a house gym. The floor is smooth cement, and the ceilings are 8 feet high, then one entire wall is made of screens that welcome in fresh air and offer a appealing view of the lake behind our house. In our local area, the weather is mediocre for the majority of the year. I workout first thing in the day and don’t worry about temperature. However, in the summer, the heat and humidity become a problem. I make an effort to get up and workout as early as possible. I hope to be finished with our exercises before the temperature climbs into the nineties. Because of the screens, it’s impossible to temperature control the lanai. Instead of air conditioning, I have a box fan that I plug in. I rest directly in front of the fan to take advantage of the cool air, but it helps really little. I’m usually drenched in sweat before I’ve finished our warm up. In the middle of the winter, I have the opposite problem. The outdoor temperature periodically drops into the forties. I wait until later in the day to workout, allowing the weather to warm up but I still need to bundle up in long pants and a sweater; With no access to a gas furnace, the lanai gets super chilly. There are times when I’m forced to exercise inside the cabin for the sake of the temperature control and heater. I have really little space to workout, so this isn’tideal.
