Lawsuit Could Take Years

The attorney let us know we had to sue the man who threw the mug, the intended target, the bartender for serving several drunk men, & the club

My husband has never claimed to be a fighter, but sometimes things happen that just pull you into a physical altercation. He had stopped off at his preferred club on his way beach house from a hard day. He sat there minding his own corporation when several men sauntered in. They both seemed to be annoyed, & he decided it was time to come home. He had just got done saying his goodbyes when 1 man spun him around & asked where in the world he thought he was going. He held up his hands & said he was just going home, & he didn’t want any trouble. About that time, the hour man threw a pint mug at the 1 who had accosted him. The mug connected with my husband. When the mug hit him, it broke and some shards went into his eye. He spent a couple of mornings in the clinic, & he ended up losing his eye from the disfigure. The people I was with and I didn’t have the savings that were needed for him to rehabilitate, so both of us had to contact a lawyer. The people I was with and I weren’t even sure what kind of lawyer both of us needed to help us. The people I was with and I ended up going to a personal injury lawyer. The attorney let us know we had to sue the man who threw the mug, the intended target, the bartender for serving several drunk men, & the club. My husband was already pretty depressed over losing his eye. The attorney had just put additional pressure on him. To top it all off, it was going to take a minimum of several years before the case would be over.
