At last I finally found a digital color label printer that does waterproof printing

I work in the business office at a local boat marina.

My job duties include answering the phone, taking messages, filing licenses and boating paperwork, cleaning, and creating fliers and notices to post for varying reasons.

Sometimes these fliers are put on the docks to notify boat owners of holiday closures, cleaning dates, and other pertinent announcements. We also like to make announcements when someone is having a birthday or to commemorate a longtime member after 20 years at the marina. Unfortunately, since it’s a marina there is water everywhere. For a while I was printing everything on a traditional color printer with bare paper. I kept finding my signs destroyed from water exposure. It was frustrating when I would put out announcements in the morning only to find them soggy by the afternoon. My boss said that he’d pay for a digital color printer that does waterproof printing if I could find a few price quotes from the companies that make them. After I searched the internet, I found a few digital color printers that feature waterproof printing. There was a little bit of back and forth, but before long my boss made the decision and we ordered a new waterproof printer from Arrow. It’s hard to beat their professionalism and quality control with their printers for commercial and industrial use. I love having the ability to make permanent signs that won’t get destroyed by the elements. It’s a lot cheaper than paying a local printing service to create these waterproof signs whenever we need to make them. I know that my boss is a lot happier with the results.
